Independent Living

Our services are available in a range of settings including your home, hospital or independent living facility. Our carers can come to you for a little as 1-2 hours a day or full time 24/7. Whatever your care needs – whether physical, emotional or social well-being – our friendly, professional staff can help.

Nursing

Our registered nurses are available for clients with more complex healthcare needs or injuries who wish to continue living in their own home. We are available to provide clinical support – both short and long term – for a variety of different health conditions.

Emergency Home Care

Unfortunately, accidents happen and one’s health can change rapidly. You may find yourself in need of urgent assistance or stranded without your regular support. We can arrange for care in 24 hours, often far less in a crisis. Call us: there is a person at the other end of the phone to take your call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Respite Care

The demands – both mental and physical – in caring for someone are enormous. We are here to give you or your carer a break. Whether for only a few hours in your home so that you can go for a walk, attend appointments etc. or overnight/full-time for a few days. The aim is for you or your carer to have time out and come back refreshed, better able to cope.

Social Support

As we age keeping socially connected with family, friends and one’s community is essential for good health. Our carers are available for as little as a friendly in-home chat, to accompany you on walks or outings to cafes and galleries. It’s important for your health and well-being that you continue to enjoy and attend community interest groups, family or sports events and religious services.

Domestic Assistance

Our staff are available for assistance with everyday household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, changing and washing the bed linen, clothes washing and ironing, food shopping, watering the plants or feeding your pet. Living in a clean, presentable and hygienic home environment is vital both for maintaining good health, self-esteem and confidence. Domestic assistance gives you the time and energy to do the things you enjoy!

Personal Care

Personal care includes assistance with bathing (including bed baths) and showering, toileting, support with shaving, applying make-up and hair care, oral hygiene, dressing and getting ready for bed.

Allied Health Services

Allied health professionals advise and assist with therapies to enhance mobility, hearing, sight, speech and swallowing, nutrition and emotional support. We are able to arrange for an audiologist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech pathologist, podiatrist, nutritionist or psychologist to visit you in the comfort of your own home. This allows you the extra support you may need without the disruption of travelling to an appointment.

Transport

Our staff are available to take you shopping, drive you to medical appointments, social and leisure activities or simply to the supermarket, either in their vehicle or your own car. We can also arrange for you to access transport services, such as a taxi, uber or wheel-chair accessible van either as a one-off or on a regular basis.

Home & Garden Maintenance

Pride in one’s home and the tranquility and enjoyment derived from familiar surroundings is only ensured with regular maintenance. We can help you keep your home and garden in order by arranging light home maintenance services, minor house repairs and regular lawn and garden care so you can live safely in your home for longer.

Medication Management

Mismanagement of medicine is a major cause of hospitalisation for the elderly. To ensure your safety and well-being, our staff are here to gently prompt and assist you to take the correct medication at the right time, to collect medication from your local pharmacy or to organise medication packaging such as a blister pack.

Dementia Care

Familiar surroundings and a regular daily routine provide a good framework to cope with the various challenges that come with dementia and memory loss. Our carers are skilled to provide outstanding dementia care; they understand what it is like to live with and care for someone with dementia. We are here to ease the burden on your family whatever stage of this debilitating condition you or your loved one is facing.

Live-In Care

With the support of our live-in carers, you can live safely and independently in your own home – much as you always have – for life. This is 100% client focussed care tailored to your specific needs and wishes with caring, familiar staff who know and understand you.

As your health deteriorates, our live-in carers and registered nurses are available for palliative and end of life care and offer a compassionate, dignified alternative to a hospice.
